Virgin White
This project takes the "Knitting Sand" technique in a new direction, moving beyond the associations of sandcastles and seascapes explored in the "Knitting Sand Lamps" project.
By using white glass sand in the mixture, the material becomes semi-translucent, allowing light to shine partly through the surface. This creates a captivating layered light effect, playing with illumination in intriguing new ways.
